Sri Chinmoy's Art
The Art of Sri Chinmoy
Sri Chinmoy’s vast outpouring of artistic works have given joy and inspiration to people at galleries worldwide. He calls his art Jharna-Kala which is "Fountain Art" in his native Bengali - to signify art flowing from the source of inspiration. His acrylic and watercolor works number over 150,000, of which 100,000 were painted in one year, and range in size from three inches square to seventy one by thirteen feet.

The following pages contain examples of Sri Chinmoy's visionary works ranging from paintings done during his youth in India to his series of Soul Birds which number over 7 million individual birds within thousands of drawings and paintings.

"Human art represents the measured steps of the mind. Divine art embodies the unfathomable dance of the soul."
